I love coaching and helping people of all ages reach and exceed their goals. I am currently an assistant coach at Camas High School for cross country and track. I am a USAT level 1 certified triathlon coach, a NASM certified personal trainer and have my AAS in fitness training. I have been involved in triathlon for almost 10 years. I was not involved in sports growing up other than playing with my friends at recess and after school. I loved watching the IRONMAN world championship with my dad growing up and thought it would be cool if I could do that someday. My first triathlon was a sprint and it was hard! But I survived and fell in love. Since then I have done 3-4 triathlons per year including 7 half IRONMAN distance and 3 full IRONMAN races. Building the triathlon community in SW Washington is something I am very passionate about. My hope is that by giving people of all abilities a place to come learn about the sport and by giving groups of people a place to train, the sport of triathlon will flourish. Racing with your teammates and cheering each other on makes the sport that much more exciting.
